Welcome to the Connected World programme

Connected World is a long-term research programme that considers how economic and technological forces are shaping the way we live, work, do business, socially interact, and consume.

This is not a 'blue sky' programme; it is aimed at helping businesses of all sizes understand the challenges that an increasingly connected and technology-driven world presents, how they could and should be benefitting from the technologies and techniques available, and what they should be doing about it today.

The Connected World programme features a series of events, which are free to attend and held in partnership with universities spanning the UK, from the South Coast to Edinburgh. Each event focuses on a different topic area from the Connected World framework (see the topics).
